Find Insurance Canada is a Canadian website that explains personal insurance in plain language and connects readers with licensed representatives who can quote it.
What does this site cover?
We cover six types of insurance: life, health, dental, home, auto and critical illness. Each guide explains what the coverage pays for, what it leaves out, how the price is set and how the rules differ from province to province.
Who writes the guides?
The Find Insurance Canada editorial team writes and updates every guide. We are not licensed insurance representatives, and we say so on every page where you can ask for a quote. Our job is to explain the product clearly and show you where the rules come from, so you can talk to a representative knowing what to ask.
How do we check what we publish?
We check rules and numbers against government and regulator sources and link them where they appear. Each page shows its published date and its last updated date, and that date moves only when the content changes. The full process is on our How We Work page.
How is the site paid?
When you ask for quotes through the form on our pages, a referral partner connects you with licensed representatives and may pay us a fee. Using the site costs you nothing, and the fee never decides what we write. We explain this in full on the How We Work page.
